Nadya Krasteva – presented in front of Bulgarian audiences for the first time

Bizet’s Carmen,  Princess Eboli from ‘Don Carlos’ by Verdi, Dalilah by Saint Saens, Maria from ‘Westside Story’ by Bernstein  - these were only some of the Nadya Krasteva’s artistic transformations which she presented for the first time in five years in front of Bulgarian audience. The concert, organized by CIBANK, attracted fans of the currently most successful Bulgarian mezzo-soprano, who gave a standing ovation to her superb performance to the accompaniment of Katya Vladigerova.
The first opera singer of Wiener Staatsoper was personally congratulated by the Belgian Ambassador in Bulgaria, His Excellency Marc Michielsen; Tsvetelina Borislavova, Chairperson of CIBANK’s  Supervisory Board; Petar Andronov, Chief Executive Director of the Bank and Vasil Simov – Chairperson of CIBANK’s Management Board. Special compliments and a huge basket of flowers were sent by the Minister of Culture Stefan Danailov.
Bulgarian audience is incredible. “Throughout the concert I could feel their support and I felt truly happy to be singing at home.”, said after the concert Nadya Krasteva while giving out smiles and autographs. „I am very glad that we managed to “steal” from Europe one of our most talented young opera singers who has conquered the world stage but rarely delights Bulgarian audience. Nadya is incredible and after her brilliant performances the Christmas Holidays appear even more luminous and beautiful”, said Tsvetelina Borislavova and announced that CIBANK would organize its next similar concert for a wider audience.
