CIBANK TRAINEESHIP PROGRAMS

CIBANK, in cooperation with the University Career Center of UNWE, implements an ambitious traineeship program. Every summer 50 students, selected among approximately 100 applicants, start a job in different bank entities. The young people are mainly with majors such as "Finance", "Accounting and Control ", "International Economic Relations ", "Law", "Economy and Organisation of Labour " etc. 

CIBANK offers not only traineeship, but also a long-term investment in potential young staff. For this purpose a special program has been developed, comprising different training levels. 

The traineeship for second and third-year students has a duration of one month as students can choose their work place among the 135 branches of CIBANK all over the country. To stimulate future bankers, the bank grants an annual scholarship at the amount of BGN1000 to those who performed best and have excellent university marks.

During the obligatory 45-day traineeship undergraduates conclude a services employment contract with the bank and receive remuneration.

The next step towards working with young people is the six-month traineeship program of CIBANK for students in their final year of studies, which, besides a contract and remuneration, also provides training to students in the Training Center of the Bank.

Over the last five years approximately 200 students have been trainees at CIBANK, and over 25 % of them started a regular job in the bank afterwards.
