• All types of foreign currency payments are executed in compliance with Law on Credit Institutions, Currency Law and Regulations of the Bulgarian National Bank related to payments;
• Payments in foreign currency are effected through the international payments system S.W.I.F.T. and the correspondents of CIBANK PLC in Europe and USA, using the privilege of CIBANK’s indirect membership in SEPA Credit Transfer and TARGET 2 as main European Settlement Systems. 

Customer Transfers:
 
Outgoing Payments in foreign currency:

• Payments orders for intra-bank foreign currency transfers are executed on the day of their submission at CIBANK PLC, with the same value date and in accordance with the working hours of the respective bank office;
• Payments orders for foreign currency transfers to another bank submitted to CIBANK PLC by  15.00 p.m. are executed on the same working day they were deposited, with  the value date for the payment  transaction specified by the payer;
• Payments orders for foreign currency transfers to another bank submitted to CIBANK PLC after  15.00 p.m. are deemed to be received and executed on the next working day with the value date specified by the payer.
• CIBANK PLC offers to its customers free of charge e-mail service for receiving copies of outgoing payments in foreign currency after their execution by S.W.I.F.T. – for more information ask our Front-office specialists at CIBANK’s offices. 

Incoming Payments in foreign currency:

• You may receive foreign currency payments to your foreign currency account with CIBANK PLC by order of customers of CIBANK’s branches, of other Bulgarian or Foreign banks, using our Standard Settlement Instructions for payments;
• You may receive foreign currency payments to your BGN current account with CIBANK PLC – the Bank applies its Buy exchange rate for the respective currency on the day of customer’s account credit.

• Purchase of Travelers Checks in EUR, USD and GBP;
• Issuance of Personal Checks in EUR and USD;
• Checks collections.
