The proposed chip card guarantees a higher level of security during transactions. The chip cards require entering a PIN at an ATM or a POS terminal. If the terminal device is not able to read the data from the chip, it will be able to read it from the magnetic stripe.
 

• 24-hour cash withdrawal at an ATM machine bearing the Maestro logo, in Bulgaria and abroad.
• Cash withdrawal at a bank counter. 
• Payment of goods and services via all POS terminals bearing the Maestro logo, everywhere in the country and abroad.
• Transfer of funds from your card account into a savings account and vice versa at an ATM machine in Bulgaria.
• Ability to check the balance on your card account at an ATM machine or via SMS notification sent to a specific telephone number.

• In order to obtain Maestro Debit Card you have to visit a CIBANK Branch and to fill in an Application Form for Issuance of a Card .
• If you need an overdraft on your card current account you have to present additional documents at CIBANK and to sign an overdraft contract.
